Login to your Grandstream device by entering the phones IP address (found on the screen of the phone) into your chosen web browser and pressing enter. Enter your password (admin by default) and press login.
You will then be presented with this screen:

Where you see the section called ‘Firmware Upgrade and Provisioning’, make sure the radio button is selecting HTTP and change the firmware server path to 72.172.83.110 as follows:

Once this has been done, please click update then reboot.
The phone will now reboot and download the newest firmware. Please be aware that the phone should be left alone during this process as any interruption will cause the phone to fail its upgrade rendering the phone useless.
The phone may reboot and repeat this procedure a few times depending on the age of the existing firmware.
